Tahini Shirataki Noodles

Low cal shirataki noodles smell really fishy but they’re actually really tasty. You just gotta add the right stuff. Like this simple vegan tahini sauce.


Yields: 1 main serving or 2 servings as side

Coconut oil spray

1 package Shirataki noodles

2 scallions, chopped

½ cup sliced white mushrooms

½ tbsp fresh ginger, minced

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 lime juiced

2 tbsp tahini

1 squirt sriracha

1 tbsp coconut aminos

1 tbsp sesame seeds


  1. Drain shirataki noodles well.

  2. Spray a sauté pan with coconut oil spray.

  3. Add ginger and scallions.

  4. Cook until fragrant, 5 minutes.

  5. Add mushrooms and rice vinegar.

  6. Cook 3 minutes more until cooked down.

  7. Add noodles followed by lime and coconut aminos.

  8. Toss well and cook 1 minute.

  9. Turn off heat and add tahini and sriracha to taste.

  10. Toss well and garnish with sesame seeds.

  11. Serve cold or hot.
