She/He Stayed Overnight Oats

I think overnight oats needs a rebrand. Instead of the classic eggs in the morning, let’s start serving overnight oats to overnight guests. Firstly they’re super easy, you can eat it in bed, and it’s practically no dishes. Plus it’s like you’re eating a combination of something that tastes like raw cookie dough and pudding for breakfast. If you’re into that sorta stuff.

Ingredients:
Yields: 1, double to serve 2

1 almost empty nut butter jar

¾ c. almond milk

¼ c. rolled oats

1 frozen banana

1 tbsp freshly ground flax seeds

1 tbsp chia seeds

Toppings:

Cinnamon

Cocoa Powder

Blueberries

Shredded coconut

More almond butter or peanut butter

Cocoa nibs

Directions:

  1. Measure out your ingredients and combine everything in your empty nut butter jar.

  2. Seal the jar tightly and give the mixture a few good shakes.

  3. Place your prepared overnight oats in the fridge to sit overnight (hence the name)

  4. Serve with desired toppings of your choice. Get creative!
